Seminal DC hardcore band, Bad Brains, announced the upcoming release of their first record in five years.
Those of you who have been maintaining that PMA in hopes that Bad Brains would release new material, your day is near. Due Nov. 20, Into the Future produced by all four members of the band, H.R., Dr. Know, Darryl Jenifer and Earl Hudson; will be released on metal label Megaforce Records.
The band’s last album, 2007′s Build a Nation, was produced by Beastie Boy Adam “MCA” Yauch, who passed away this spring from a long battle with cancer. As a tribute to their friend, Bad Brains will include a remix of the track ”Peace Be Unto Thee” on their upcoming release.
