LCD Soundsystem Film Gets DVD/Blu Ray Release Date

The LCD Soundsystem documentary film “Shut Up and Play the Hits” will be made available to the general public on Oct. 9.
The film documents the LCD Soundsystem farewell show at Madison Square Garden in April 2011. “Shut Up and Play the Hits”, directed by directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, follows the band for the 48 hours prior to their final performance.
“Shut Up and Play the Hits” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last January and was released to select theaters for a one night showing on July 18. If you missed the showing, fear not, the film is going to be made available on BLU-ray and DVD. It is will be available for pre-order by DFA.
