British pop group and Blessing Force artists Jonquil are set to be playing SXSW this year, but they won’t be returning to Oxford straight away – instead the band has just announced via their Facebook that they will be playing a small set of US shows, noticeably covering the East Coast and the Mid-West. After SXSW wraps up in March, the band is planning to hit these following locations along with electronic act Keep Shelly In Athens in April:

4/2 – Brooklyn, NY at Glass Lands
4/4 – Chicago, Il at the Empty Bottle
4/5 – Minneapolis, MN at the Varsity
4/6 – Grinnell, IA at Grinnell College
4/7 – Kansas City, MO at Middle of the Map Fest
4/9 – Dallas, TX at the Prophet Bar
4/10 – Houston, TX at Fitzgerald’s
4/11 – Austin, TX at the Mohawk

Though there are no West Coast tour dates thus far, that could likely change in the near future. If you haven’t done so already, also check out Jonquil’s new video for their insanely catchy song, “It’s My Part” which debuted a few days ago, below:
