Jim O’Rourke ATP Festival Canceled

Drag City Records mainstay Jim O’Rourke  was forced to cancel the ATP Festival he was curating due to low ticket sales.

The All Tomorrow’s Parties Tokyo festival had originally been postponed because of lack of interest, but according to an apology issued on the festival’s website, “…due to the venue’s availability and scheduling problems with artists, we are unable to hold the event this year. We deeply apologize to those who have held onto their tickets for such a long period waiting for news of the rescheduled event. Refunds are available from point of purchase to those who have not yet claimed them. We are now working on an exciting ATP event for 2013 and will make the announcement as soon as it’s confirmed.”
