James Blunt Reportedly Leaving Music Career Behind

James Blunt has put a pause – perhaps a permanent one – on his music ambitions. His motivation for doing so is to “take more time for himself.”
Born James Hillier Blount, the 38 year old singer-songwriter has issued three successful albums, particularly his 2004 debut Back to Bedlum which featured the monumental hit “You’re Beautiful”. He elaborated on his decision an interview with The Daily Mail, saying “I haven’t got any plans to do more songwriting…I’ve spent a lot of time in Ibiza, where I have a villa.”
For now, he appears content to slow down and relax in life. The last record he put out was 2010′s Some Kind of Trouble.
