Ivan & Alyosha Join Dualtone Music Group, Win Tickets to 8/24 Show

Local folk-rockers Ivan & Alyosha just announced they have signed with Nashville’s very own Dualtone Music Group. The quartet pens thought-provoking lyrics that straddle different sides of faith on top of self-determination that build momentum with the guitar licks, energetic percussion and Tim Wilson’s magnetic vocals. Ivan & Alyosha’s debut full-length, All The Times We Had, will be released in February 2013 via Dualtone/Missing Piece. All The Times We Had was co-produced by Chad Copelin (Bobby Long, The Low Anthem) and features Aimee Mann on the title song. Their earlier EP, Father Be Kind, was what skyrocketed them into the spotlight with coverage from NPR’s All Songs Considered,Tiny Desk Series performance along with editorials from Paste and Filter magazines. Other remarkable artists on the Dualtone roster include The Lumineers, Brett Dennen, and Drew Holcomb.
Ivan & Alyosha were most recently performing at Doe Bay Fest on Orcas Island, which you can read about here. Their energetic styling puts a spell on the entire crowd and convinces even the most timid to let loose and dance their worries away.
