Legendary disco producer, and electronic music pioneer, Giorgio Moroder has launched a Soundcloud featuring rare tracks.
Giorgio Moroder may not be the household name as he once was, but he is never-the-less one of the most influential producers of all time as one of the principal architects of disco. From his work with Donna Summer on songs like “I Feel Love”, to the “Scarface” soundtrack, to Blondie‘s “Call Me” and Berlin‘s “Take My Breath Away”, Moroder has put his stamp on dance music for over three decades. His list of collaborators include Bowie, Queen, Janet Jackson, Cher and if current rumors are true Daft Punk.
Moroder sensing that dance music is at a high ebb has launched very active SoundCloud page to place himself in the minds of current fans of EDM. Moroder is using the platform for extended versions of his known work and previously unreleased rarities, including an extended mix of “Scarface” soundtrack cut “Push It to the Limit”.
