An evening with Neurosis is going to be so epic. I have had the pleasure of seeing Neurosis live at Neumos before; it was very ominous, very dark, very metal. Neurosis have been making music as a collective since 1985, and their movement into experimental doom metal made them one of the founding fathers of the genre and spawned many great artists that took a page from their book. Infusing sounds inspired by atmospheric classic rock such as Pink Floyd into metal, Neurosis was one of the very first bands to create soundscapes of blackness and horror alluring enough for each listener to fade into white noise. When you hear bands such as the great Isis and iconic (albeit math-centric) Botch, to bands like Mouth of the Architect and Harkonen, you know Neurosis have influenced many and left an indelible footprint on modern-day music; to be able to see their show live is an honor.  Don’t miss your chance!
