French Producer/DJ Sebastian Announces US Tour

The young prince of the Ed Banger regime is back at it again. The French producer and DJ, Sebastian, recently announced a string of dates on both coasts of the States. Bring on the rough-edged French electro; it’s time to dance it out.

Sebastian is known for his official remixes for bands such as Daft Punk, Cut Copy, The Rapture, Klaxons, and most recently The Beastie Boys. He dropped his debut full length LP, Total, on Ed Banger/Because Music/Big Beat/Atlantic a few months ago and a physical release of the LP is due out this fall.

Total surveys an electro aesthetic that personifies itself in the lead single “Embody.” Sebastian’s second single to drop off this record with a similar feel is “C.T.F.O.” featuring M.I.A.

The French producer sticks to performing in Europe and Australia and seldom crosses the Atlantic, but he’s got five dates in the states this fall. In anticipation for the tour, Sebastian recently compiled a mini-mix available here, as a preview of his diverse tastes and what is to come on his US tour.  The mix offers an eclectic pulse of music all across the board.
