Mr. Kool A.D. of Das Racist is further dispelling the opinion that Das Racist is nothing more than joke-rap. His new mixtape, The Palm Wine Drinkard, is very interesting, and it steps outside of the bounds of anything conventional – well, for the most part. The song titles include “Titties Out” and “Booty in the Air,” but when you get past that part, there are some surprisingly fresh bits on this mixtape. Ranging from psychedelia to freeform jazz, The Wine Drinkard is sweet way to start off 2012. Give it a listen.
