Fans of methodical slacker rock should keep their eyes and ears on Nashville’s Dialup Ghost.
The band began as a duo using a 4-track cassette recorder, but has since evolved into a full band. They’ve just released “If You Want to Die” on October 12th, and front member Russ Finn explains the narrative behind the single:
“‘If You Want to Die’ was inspired by my addiction to social media, my phone, and the internet in general. I think our society and generation has a big problem with social media addiction and craving the attention of ‘likes.'”
