Ambient duo Windy & Carl are set to make a rare appearance at Decibel 2012. The husband and wife team of Carl Hultgren and Windy Weber have been active since the early nineties, producing dreamlike tones from both electronic and analog sources, bridging the divide between ambient techno and more organic genres like shoegaze and dream pop. The duo are a fixture on the Kranky Records roster, and even though they still run a record shop in Dearborn, Michigan, they’ve found time to make their way out to our neck of the woods for a special performance.
