With their name alone, Teengirl Fantasy brings to mind dreamy tones and distant yearnings. Members Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi deal in rhythms rooted in deep house and ‘90s club music, with hints of shoegaze and psychedelic influences. Interweaving, syncopated beats collide with waves of synths to create a moody collage of futuristic sounds.
