A decade has passed since Seattle’s own Scott McIlwain started producing music under the moniker Lusine. From film scores and soundtracks to his own highly celebrated releases on Ghostly International, McIlwain’s texturally dense and melodic form of abstract electro-pop has been fawned over and sought after by many far and wide since he first made his mark on the scene. I’d highly recommend showing up early and readying your ears for some new debut Lusine material as McIlwain is putting the finishing touches on his first album in four years to be out on Ghostly International in the coming year.
