Grym (Seth Broman) has been one of the key leaders and organizers of the devoted Drum n’ Bass following in Seattle. In this day and age of ‘EDM’ and ‘Garage’ and ‘futurebass’, Drum n’ Bass could probably be considered one of the elder brother subgenres of techno. But Grym’s Onset crew continues to show that there are still creative frontiers to be reached within the style, and he’s helped put together a showcase on Wednesday night to prove it, inviting all-stars such as Bachelors of Science and Sinistarr to play the festival. Grym will be spinning early in the night, so if you want a taste of what happens at Temple Billards ever so often get there early.
