With his Do U Like Night Bus? mix-tape, CFCF (the alias of Michael Silver) became the unofficial spokesperson of the contemplative and melancholy genre. Yet with his own original compositions, the Montreal-based DJ and producer is somewhat of genre chameleon, vacillating between distinct points of house, R&B, disco, jungle and ambient influences. Interlacing keyboard melodies with pulsating synths and minimalist beats, CFCF crafts gorgeous musical landscapes fit to soundtrack the wildest of imaginations.
