Death Grips has fired back at their label Epic Records over their recently leaked album, No Love Deep Web.
Today the band released screenshots of emails between the band and Epic on facebook that appear to disprove the many theory that is currently circulating about the albums leak being a marketing stunt. The screenshots were accompanied by the quote: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOW FUCK OFF.” Screen shots can be found below the Soundcloud embed.
After a round of back and forth between Epic and Death Grips, no one knows who took down their website following the leak. Death Grips posted via twitter at the time, “Our sight just got shut down- BASIC AS FUCK”- though the album remained streaming on Soundcloud. By the next day their site was back up and running.
If you haven’t listened to that album yet, it’s still available for streaming and download below. Also check out their most recent video collaboration with animator Galen Pehrson.
