Crybaby Studios has released their second annual compilation.

Crybaby Studios is a recording studio and a labyrinth of practice spaces on Capitol Hill. This month, founder and owner of the space Leigh Stone has been celebrating the release the studios’ second annual compilation.

The compilation, which features a variety of current Seattle bands that have caught Stones attention according to her interview with The Stranger, contains tracks all recorded at Crybaby Studios. The compilation features: Haunted Horses, Eighteen Individual Eyes, Rose Windows, Nightmare Fortress, you.may.die.in.the.desert, Murals, Stickers, Sam Miller, Sad Face, Ocelet Omelet, Gerhardts and Royal Eyes.

Last year, Crybaby Studios released the comp digitally and on compact disc. This year, they’re going bigger and better with three compilation release parties and an added incentive to pick up a hard copy of the comp: a bonus track approximately 13 seconds before the official start of the first song. Purchase a hard copy here or at a Seattle record store.. All proceeds from the comp will go to benefit the family of Karl Milanoski who passed away in an avalanche at Alpental this past February.

This Saturday (June 30) will be the third and final Crybaby Comp. release party at the Comet Tavern featuring Eighteen Individual Eyes (Midnight), Murals (11:00), Royal Eyes (10:00) and Alicia Amiri of Nightmare Fortress (9:15).
