Codeine are coming to the Triple Door for back to back performances in July. The band, known for their early, profound influence on the genre of slow-core music, originally broke up in 1994.

The group is receiving the full re-release treatment from Numero Group. 1991’s Frigid Star, 1992’s Barely Real and 1994’s The White Birch will appear in an incredible six LP, three CD volume, complete with detailed liner notes, interviews and demos. It’s titled When I See The Sun.

Appearing at the Triple Door on July 9 and 10, Codeine will be touring both Europe and the States this summer. Tickets are available for the Seattle shows here.
