Clem Snide have announced that they are going to be doing a new album in the very near future.
Although not much has been said officially about the new album, a few hints have been found scattered around the web. In a post on the band’s Facebook page on March 31st, the band stated, “In just a few short days there will be a lot of exciting Clem Snide shim sham about the latest record, A Kickstarting, and many new songs to share.”
The band has started a Kickstarter project. Kickstarter.com is a website that allows artist of all types to ask for help in funding their works. Clem Snide is asking for $10,000 to help record and promote their new album Songs For Mary. As of April, 4 2012 the band has managed to receive 55 backers and a total of $4,057. They still have 29 days left until the funding process is over. The project will only be funded if they reach their goal of $10,000 by May, 4 2012.
