Capitol Hill Block Party 2012: Jaymes McFarland

Thanks to the genius of Marco Collins and Joe Hammill of Jet City Stream the Vitamin Water lounge at Sole Repair was one of Capitol Hill Block Party’s best spots to cool off and enjoy some unlisted performances. But it wasn’t the free Vitamin Water and a photo both fun that made it so good, undoubtedly it was the musical talent. Seattle born singer-songwriter Jaymes McFarland is a young artist and performer who put on a moving live session on Sunday. McFarland’s command over his voice and guitar proved very entertaining, mesmerizing the audience to the last song.  Though usually performing solo, this time McFarland was accompanied by a friend playing the congas.
