Capitol Hill Block Party 2012: Feet

Local Seattle band and EMP Sound Off! finalist Feet played Sunday at the Vera stage on the final day of the Capitol Hill Block Party. Even before Feet took the stage the crowd was charged with energy, with groups meeting up and sharing anticipation for upcoming sets. When Feet began their sound check a raucous voice from the crowd yelled “play the summer hits” and a few moments later someone on stage said “this is just the soundcheck”. Soundcheck or no,t people were definitely jamming to the tuning of sounds. Feet is composed of Michael Beswetherick (drums), John O’Connor (vocals, guitar), Cynthia Chiou (synth, trumpet, vocals) and Kelton Sears (bass). When Feet’s silky melodies finally commenced it was to an engaged audience and within those chain link fences of the the Vera stage new fans were surely minted.
