Bumbershoot 2012: TacocaT

TacocaT of Seattle really likes candy Peeps, they even began their set at Bumbershoot on Saturday with a song about them. Less surprising than it might seem as an entrance song, the band was also decked head to toe in bright colors and tu-tus that really reflect their punk-pop attitude. Bubbles quickly began flooding the stage as soon as the band continued with other spunky songs including one about pap smears.

Sure, Tacocat’s lyrics aren’t groundbreaking – but that’s not their aim. At Bumbershoot 2012 they put everyone in the highest of spirits as the festival began and sent them on their way with curious smiles.
