This Friday night, progressive rock band Buildings on the Moon will return with some new tunes! In February the foursome held their release party for their Worlds Away EP at the High Dive, and now they’re back to showcase a few new songs they’ve been working on. The Hard Rock Café recognized the rigor of the band when Buildings on the Moon made it to the top 12 of their Seattle Battle of the Bands competition, beating out over 800 bands in the area. Their melodic tunes are stellar live – if you’re into loud sets then this lineup is for you!

With Buildings on the Moon will be Pacific Nomadic, who will bring a softer, shimmery rock to the stage with their heart-on-their-sleeve tactics. Priding themselves on their honest creations, Pacific Nomadic will be a charming second set. Taking the stage first will be Disastroid from San Francisco, who clearly have a sense of humor, or are just brutally honest – they describe themselves as “three utterly boring men playing completely lame music”.
