Brian Eno Announces New Record

Brian Eno plans to unveil his latest LP near the end of this year. LUX comes out on Nov. 13th courtesy of Warp Records.
The solo endeavor, his first since 2005′s Another Day on Earth, confirms Eno is as ambitious as ever in his pursuit of sound. His indelible mark on ambient, electronic and experimental music in general reverberates on in countless bifurcations of music and art today.
According to Eno, the upcoming record is a spiritual companion of sorts to two prior albums of his, 1975′s Discreet Music and 1993′s Neroli. This trilogy of music of his is the Music for Thinking project.
Standing at an immense 76 minute run-time, the four compositions (twelve sections overall) make up LUX. CD and digital download are available Nov. 13th, while it is out on LP Dec. 11.
