Blink-182 Part Ways with Interscope

Blink-182 have officially severed all ties with Interscope Records. The major label released only one album of the band’s – last year’s Neighbors.
This is the first time the band has been unsigned in a long, long time. Tom DeLonge spilled the beans through Twitter, saying “Blink as of today, is an independent artist!”
In a recent interview with NME, Mark Hoppus confirmed to the publication that they were in the process of writing a new album. The release date is still completely up in the air. Travis Barker recently commented on the material though, suggesting that “…the best is yet to come, the next album is going to be so exciting.”
