Bjork Announces Remix Album: ‘bastards’

Bjork has announced a new remix album, bastards,featuring remixes from her album, Biophilia.
Back in March, Bjork welcomed us to Biophilia, an experimental musical media experiment. Every two weeks over the course of two months, Bjork introduced a new collaboration available both digitally and on 12″ vinyl with a multitude of artists including Alva Noto, These New Puritans, Current Value and Death Grips.
The new remix album, bastards, will include these collaborations and others and will be released Nov. 19 via One Little Indian.
According to Bjork, “The core of the mixes took Biophilia somewhere else while still keeping its character… I spent some time editing together not necessarily the best ones but the ones that made the strongest whole.”
