Best of 2012: Lemolo’s Top 5 Albums

SSG Music / December 27, 2012
This year saw a rise in presence from the dream-pop duo Lemolo. And though Meagan Grandall and Kendra Cox may have met as kayaking instructors in the Washington State town of Poulsbo, these two ladies are now making waves by gracing stages side-by-side sharing their unique ruminative inspired sounds. This year, the girls have provided SSG Music with their “collective list of album loves from 2012, in no particular order.” Enjoy.

Emily Wells: Mama – Emily Wells is the master of live looping.

Sharon Van Etten: Tramp –  Sharon Van Etten is one of our idols. We warm up to her songs before our own shows.

tame impala lonerism

Tame Impala: Lonerism – When you are listening to Tame Impala, you can’t help but relax and be absorbed by the music.

deep sea diver history speaks

Deep Sea Diver: History Speaks – Jessica Dobson shreds like we wish we could.

Beach House: Bloom – Not only does Victoria Legrand have the best hair, but it is inspiring to see what a power house a musical duo can be.
