Beck’s Three New Songs For PS3 Are Up

Earlier this summer, it was confirmed that Beck would contribute three songs to the Play Station 3 video game, Sound Shapes. It was not too much of a surprise, seeing that Beck has certainly used various methods and outlets to share his music.

Take, for example, the method by which he plans to distribute his upcoming album, Song Reader. Last week, Beck announced that he is releasing the album in the form of individual sheets of music. The publishing company, Faber & Faber, believes that this will allow fans to play the music and ‘bring them to life’ themselves. Only two songs from the album will be instrumental, but it’s still exciting to see what a music album in the form of paper will be like. The album is set to release in December.
