Watch: Antony and the Johnsons — “Cut the World”

Antony and the Johnsons unveiled the music video for title track “Cut the World” off their recently released live album.
The video stars Willem Dafoe, Carice Van Houten, performance artist Marina Abramovic and a whole bunch of people with knives and blood-stained clothes. It’s not a very happy video for an equally somber song.
Primary group member Antony Hegarty‘s contributions will be featured at his own Meltdown Festival in London on August 11 in the opera “The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic” and the film “Turning”, for which Hegarty collaborated with Charles Atlas.
