Adele Announces Plans to Return to the Studio

Adele’s music career is on fire lately, after sweeping the Grammy Awards with six wins last week and continuing to sell millions of albums. Thus, it was a huge surprise when the media was abuzz yesterday after the British singing sensation was quoted in the U.S. edition of Vogue to have said she would be taking “four or five years” off to focus on her relationship. Today, Adele retracted that statement via her blog on Adele.tv, writing, “5 years? More like 5 days,” and promising to return to the studio right after the BRIT Awards. Meanwhile, the singer’s sophomore album 21 continues to chart-topper in sales leaving us all to wonder what she will bring to the table in her third release.
